Welcome to Project Kidogo. We were founded in 2015 by Nikki Kamminga to help the people of Tanzania with their periods. Our aim is to provide everyone who needs them with affordable cloth menstrual pads, to provide kits to teens at schools free of charge and to give training in sewing to help people in rural areas to earn a living.
Nikki and family are in Tabora, Tanzania for the summer setting up a sewing workshop and teaching Mya, our project leader, to work with local fabrics and materials. We’ve just purchased two new machines in the town and are very excited about hiring a workshop space. We desperately need regular donations to subsidise the rent so if you can help, even in just a small way, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
